„Best Referees in all of Sports“ didn’t call a major here.
It’s been a good year so far for @NHL regarding calls, but this can change in a hurry.
This is where a report about ref by the league would be really helpful.

I’m not a fan of treating stars differently, but maybe – maybe – if a player who isn’t really vocal very often AND now has an A on his jersey is really upset about a call (rightfully), you don’t call a penalty on him and decide a game.
